Real Madrid have reportedly joined the chase to land France Under-21 international forward Moussa Dembele, according to the Mirror.

The La Liga giants, who defeated Espanyol 2-0 at the Bernabeu on Saturday, are understood to have become the latest team to register an interest in Celtic’s star striker.

The 20-year-old, who has scored four international goals in just four outings for France’s Under-21 side, has remarkably netted 27 times and assisted a further six strikes in 41 appearances in all competitions for The Bhoys so far this season.

Dembele, who joined the runaway Scottish Premiership leaders back in June from Championship outfit Fulham, is also said to be a transfer target for the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The report suggests that Madrid have been closely monitoring the Celtic hotshot, who is valued at around £40m, after Antonio Conte’s Blues made an enquiry for the Frenchman during the previous January transfer window.
