Arsenal are on the verge of signing Ituano FC talent Gabriel Martinelli, according to the Hartlepool Mail

The 17-year-old is a highly-rated striker has impressed for the Fourth Division Brazilian outfit – where ex-Middlesbrough midfielder Juninho Paulista is club president – this term.

In fact, Boro, along with Leeds United were reportedly keen on signing the teenager, who has also spent time with both Manchester United and Barcelona.
