Conte should drop these 3 Chelsea players against Liverpool

Despite keeping a clean sheet against The Bees, Conte is surely set to recall Thibaut Courtois to deputise between the sticks as Chelsea return to Premier League action.

The 29-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move to AFC Bournemouth before the close of the January transfer window on Tuesday night, has not featured in the top-flight at all this season under Conte, instead being benched for all 22 fixtures so far.

Begovic, who made his fifth start for The Blues this term, albeit all have come either in the FA Cup or EFL Cup, had very little to do at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with Brentford having just two shots on target, which proved routine stops for the Bosnian.

Having being a spectator for the majority of Chelsea’s fourth round tie, Begovic will watch tomorrow night’s Liverpool’s clash from the bench, unless a deadline day deal materialises…
