Borussia Dortmund are preparing a surprise move for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, according to German newspaper SportBild.

Having recently sold Christian Pulisic to Chelsea for £58million, who will make the switch to London in the summer, Dortmund are reported to be in the hunt for a replacement.

Zaha is an academy graduate of the Eagles and is in his second spell at the club after re-joining the club in 2014 following  an unsuccessful spell at Manchester United.

Despite struggling to convert chances into goals this season, with only three from 20 appearances, he is still Roy Hodgson’s key man.

Zaha has failed to net in his last 17 matches for Palace.

At 26, the Ivory Coast international is entering the peak of his career which could force him to look for a move away from Selhurst Park, which he has been linked with in recent years.

However, after signing a new five-year deal back in August, it is reported that Palace want around £70million for the forward.

Dortmund are currently top of the Bundesliga and are six points clear of second placed Bayern Munich.

Any deal would see Zaha link up with fellow Londoner Jadon Sancho who has starred in Germany this term.
