Five things we learned from Derby County v Leicester City

Premier League Champions forced into a replay

Claudio Ranieri’s side were left stunned on Friday evening after being forced to a replay by their Championship opposition.

It was a game well fought by both sides and Leicester’s late equaliser prevented The Rams of a superb cup upset.

The draw means that the Foxes have yet another match to add to their already busy schedule due to their Champions League commitments.

The draw was the first time the two sides had drew in the FA Cup since 1894, in only their fourth ever meeting in England’s oldest cup competition.

Derby won 2-0 in their last meeting in this competition all the way back in 1909.
