Liverpool have entered the busy race to sign Lille star Nicolas Pepe, according to reports.

The 23-year-old has been one of the standout players in Europe this season, scoring 19 times and assisting 13 others in 32 Ligue 1 matches.

His performances, including an eye-catching display in his side’s 5-1 thrashing of Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, have reportedly caught the eye of a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea.

Pepe’s goals and assists, only bettered by Kylian Mbappe in France, sees Lille sit second in the table and on course for Champions League football next term.
