With Liverpool’s attacking players in such great form at the moment, it doesn’t look like any of them will want to leave Anfield for Old Trafford in January.

However, their great form suggests that Divock Origi isn’t going to break into the first team any time soon.

The 21-year-old signed from Lille back in 2014 and was immediately loaned back to the French club, but since returning to Anfield, he has made just 24 Premier League appearances, 17 of which have been from the substitute’s bench.

Although he is a regular feature in the Reds’ Cup side, if Origi is seeking first team football right now in his career, it might not be at Anfield.

He’s young, he’s promising, and he would have a lot of suitors. It would be a risky move, but could potentially work out very well for United if they signed him in January.

Sir Alex Ferguson attempted to sign him years ago when he was at Genk, and Mourinho might do the same now.
