Manchester City have agreed to sign West Bromwich Albion youngster Morgan Rogers, according to reports.

The 16-year-old made his professional debut in the Baggies’ FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Hawthorns in February.

However, Sky Sports report that Albion are set to lose their academy starlet to Manchester City after they agreed a compensation fee.

Pep Guardiola’s Man City ate about to get their hands on one of England’s most talented players.

It’s claimed that the Premier League champions will pay an initial £4m which could rise depending on the teenage forward’s development.

Rogers was set to go on pre-season tour with West Brom in Spain but has stayed in England to seal his switch to the Etihad.

This summer the attacker represented England Under-17s at the 2019 European Championship, where he played in all three of the Young Lions’ group matches.
