Manchester United are planning to make a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, according to The Metro.

There is still a lot of uncertainty over who will be standing in the dugout for the Red Devils next season but, despite that, the club’s board have reportedly planned a move for the £90million-rated winger in the summer transfer window.

Even though the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December has lightened the mood around Old Trafford, the Red Devils still sit two points outside the top-four, and 13 points off league leaders, Liverpool.

Sancho, 18, has been one of the stars of German football this season.

Sancho, who left United’s bitter rivals Manchester City in 2017, is considered one of the most promising young players in Europe, having contributed six goals and 10 assists in the Bundesliga this season.

The England international has also played a key role in the German club’s Champions League campaign, as he has appeared in all but one of their fixtures and scored in their impressive 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

The 18-year-old was rewarded for his fine form by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate in October, who handed him his senior international debut in a UEFA Nations League match against Croatia.
