Premier League Team of the Week: Aston Villa, Everton and Leicester City stars impress in Matchweek 12

DF: James Justin (Leicester City)

The flying full-back put in a faultless display in Leicester’s 3-0 win over Brighton. Justin’s energetic runs forward caused the Seagulls all kinds of problems as he created a number of chances for his teammates.

DF: Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa)

The 23-year-old is starting to look the real deal in the Premier League. Had a terrific opening half to stop Wolves in their tracks. Made some well timed challenges and – as ever – was composed on the ball. Most notably stopped Fabio Silva from tapping home after his shot had hit the post and rebounded out.

DF: Jannik Vestergaard (Southampton)

The big Dane has been hugely impressive for Southampton this term and was so again in the comfortable 3-0 win over Sheffield United. Dominant in his defensive duties but also pinpoint accurate with the ball at his feet, the 28-year-old is becoming a real fan favourite at St Mary’s.

DF: Bed Godfrey (Everton)

Godfrey continued in an unfamiliar left-back role against Chelsea and put in a top performance to help end the London side’s unbeaten run. Was incredibly solid against the visitor’s star-studded attack as the Toffees secured a big 1-0 win.
