Liverpool have a bad past with American investment previously, with George Gillett and Tom Hicks, who forced the club into huge financial problems due to the money they loaned to originally buy the club. And so Liverpool fans can be forgiven for not being fully behind new investor John Henry to begin with. Now with Jurgen Klopp in charge, backing in the transfer market can only be positive in the eyes of a Liverpool fan.
