Despite returning to Real Madrid in the summer, two years after leaving the Bernabeu, Alvaro Morata hasn’t featured regularly in the starting eleven.

The Spanish international, who came on as a substitute against England on Tuesday, has started just five of their 11 La Liga matches, and is finding it tough to dislodge Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema from the team despite netting six times in his last six matches.

Chelsea were linked with a move for the 24-year-old over the summer as Conte looked to bolster his attacking options and, despite only returning to Madrid a few months ago, Morata could be open to a move in January if the right club came in for him.

Diego Costa is on fire for the Blues at the moment, but their strength in depth in the striking department is questionable.

Bringing Morata in though would strengthen that area and set Chelsea well on their way towards the title.
