These 2 West Ham stars must leave in January for their own good

West Ham had serious defensive issues at the start of the season, but one man that was never called upon was young starlet Reece Oxford.

The 18-year-old played in the Hammers’ Europa League qualifiers back in August, yet hasn’t featured in a domestic game at all this season.

Despite making his debut against Arsenal in August 2015, and performing well against the Gunners, Oxford doesn’t appear to be anywhere near the first team picture, so would certainly benefit from a spell out on loan over the coming months.

He is widely regarded as a big prospect for West Ham, and recently signed a new long-term deal at the club, so surely it would be in his and the club’s best interests to get a bit of game time in the lower leagues to aid his development.
