Philippe Coutinho

Inter Milan sold Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool for just £8.5 million back in January 2013, and his price has arguably quadrupled in his four years at Anfield.

The Brazilian international has made the Reds tick over the last few years, netting 35 goals in 158 games for the club since his debut against West Brom in February 2013.

Coutinho registered his most prolific season in English football last time out, scoring 12 times in 43 games for Liverpool, and started this season brilliantly as well before sustaining an injury against Sunderland back in November.

Twice a Fans Player of the Season, and twice a Players’ Player of the Season, it’s clear how much the Anfield faithful and indeed his fellow pros rate the 24-year-old – he’s certainly been one of their best January purchases.
