These are the 2 most ridiculous Man City January transfer rumours
Yaya Toure to Man United
Yaya Toure did not appear in the Premier League this season prior to City’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on November 26, and was also left out of Guardiola’s Champions League squad.
Consequently, the Ivorian was being linked with a January move to several clubs, and perhaps the most surprising of them all was to Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
The Mirror reported in October that the United boss could look at a short-term deal for the midfielder, yet they themselves admit that a move across the city would be ‘extremely unlikely’.
Arguably, it is even more unlikely now that Toure has played in their last three league games, although he didn’t start the defeat against Chelsea on Saturday.
City are probably not going to want the 33-year-old to move to a title or top four rival, let alone their Manchester rivals.
