This is what West Ham’s fearsome front three could look like come the end of January

A frontline consisting of Carroll and Daniel Sturridge would certainly strike fear into many Premier League defences, and it could become a reality in the coming weeks.

That’s because reports suggest that Liverpool’s Sturridge could be looking to leave Anfield this month after starting just five Premier League this term under Jurgen Klopp.

It took until December 27 for the England striker to register his first league goal of the campaign and, although he has started more recently, he’s unlikely to be first choice when the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane return to the fold.

Thus, a January move may benefit the 27-year-old, and West Ham are a club in need of more goals in the second half of the season, even more so now that star man Dimitri Payet is refusing to play.

The power and strength of Carroll as well as the pace and trickery of Antonio would be ideal for Sturridge, who would certainly score goals at the London Stadium, and indeed keep England manager Gareth Southgate happy.
