One of the infamous cases of the son not being able to live up to the father’s achievements on the pitch.

Dutch legend Johan gave son Jordi his first break with Barcelona in 1994, with the younger Cruyff scoring 11 goals in two seasons at the Camp Nou.

Their partnership was broken up after Johan’s sacking as Barcelona boss in 1996, with his son subsequently joining Manchester United that summer, however his spell at Old Trafford wasn’t much better as he made only 34 appearances in four years in the Premier League.
