Top 5: Footballers that have scored 500 career goals

On Wednesday night, Cristiano Ronaldo netted the 500th goal of his career against Malmo in the Champions League to join an elite club.

He became just the 25th player in history to net as many goals over their career, and he’s bound to add plenty more over the rest of his own.

In light of Cristiano’s achievement, we put together the top five names he is joining in the 500 club.
