Top 5: Most disappointing players of 2016-17 Premier League season

Jordon Ibe

Following a £15m move from Liverpool in the summer, Jordon Ibe is currently struggling to find his feet on the South Coast.

The youngster was a regular starter at the beginning of the season, but was soon dropped to the bench following a string of disappointing performances.

He then returned to Eddie Howe’s starting eleven against Manchester City and will be hoping to remain in starting squad for the foreseeable future with the Cherries boss commenting on how well the youngster is coping with the pressure of being the club’s record signing.

However, the 21-year-old has featured 19 times for Howe’s Bournemouth side in the top-flight and is yet to register any goals or assists – only managing one shot on target throughout the whole campaign.

From these league starts, the winger is yet to complete a full 90 minutes and, in fact, he has only made it to 70 minutes on three occasions.

Most of the Dean Court faithful would regard this as disappointing from their multi-million pound record signing and they will be hoping that his return to the side can reignite the form that he showed previously.
