After becoming unhappy with his lack of recent game time, Everton’s Phil Jagielka could be on his way out of Goodison Park before the end of the transfer window.

He is currently captain of the top-flight club and he has made 317 appearances since signing from Sheffield United back in 2007.

The veteran defender has featured for Ronald Koeman’s side in 16 league matches this season, but has recently fallen down the pecking order, only managing three starts in the last ten league games.

Six Premier League clubs became interested in the 34-year-old when The Toffees boss admitted that the England international could be on his way out of the club, with Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic lined up as a potential replacement.

AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Swansea City, Sunderland and West Brom are the potential suitors for the centre-back, with the Stadium of Light perhaps the most likely destination for Jagielka, as this would see him reunite with former manager David Moyes.
