Top 5: Premier League deals to be done before Deadline Day

Victor Lindelof could well be on his way to the Premier League during this window, with both Chelsea and Manchester United said to be interested in capturing the 22-year-old.

The central defender is currently playing for Primeria Liga side Benfica and has emerged as a future star over the last 12 months. He is ideally suited to the rigours of life in the Premier League as the Swedish centre-back is comfortable with the ball at his feet, but is also strong and powerful in the air.

Jose Mourinho’s United are thought to be leading the way and whilst it had been rumoured that he would join The Red Devils at the end of the season, the Portuguese boss may try to get the deal wrapped up sooner after generating over £45m through the sales of Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay.

Lindelof is a bright talent and would be a fantastic signing for any top Premier League club but, should this deal happen, he will cost his new side just over £40m.
