Top 5: Premier League sides that can catch the ‘Top Six’

West Ham United

Despite moving to a new stadium, flirting with the relegation zone and losing their star playmaker in Dimitri Payet, West Ham are still in with a possible chance of earning themselves a Europa League or Champions League spot this season.

Currently in tenth place on 32 points, Slaven Bilic’s side are definitely within reach of those clubs above them and they could certainly be considered as having already over-achieved during this campaign given their large number of issues both on and off the field.

Their next five games will be crucial, and apart from facing the league leaders Chelsea, the East London outfit will face Watford, AFC Bournemouth, Leicester City and Hull City.

All of these games should be viewed as winnable and if they manage to achieve this, their surge up the table will continue.

The Hammers have lost just three times in their last ten games, winning six games since the start of December and will be hoping to match, or improve upon, last season’s seventh place finish.
