Top 5: Premier League sides that can catch the ‘Top Six’

West Brom

Defender Gareth McAuley.

Tony Pulis joined West Brom back in January 2015 and after enjoying good spells with Stoke City and Crystal Palace, the 59-year-old has been working his magic with The Baggies.

After two steady seasons, finishing 13th and 14th respectively, he is guiding the side from The Hawthorns back to the form that they were enjoying between 2009 and 2013.

They currently sit eighth in the Premier League table on 37 points and will be hoping that they can eclipse their best points total in the top-flight (49), which they achieved during the 2012-13 campaign under former manager Steve Clarke.

Since January, West Brom have consolidated their position in the league and will be hoping that they can squeeze past Everton into seventh place – or higher – during the 13 fixtures remaining.

Pulis’ side are unbeaten in four league games and, with their next two matches at home to Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, they will certainly be looking to close the gap and fight it out for a possible Europa League spot.
