Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has just extended his loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers until the end of the season.

The goalkeeper has kept 11 clean sheets in 25 games for the League Two club since his initial loan move back in August and his spell of fine performances has ensured that he will remain at Adams Park during this campaign.

The 23-year-old has been praised for his performances in both the FA Cup and the Checkatrade Trophy, where he became a hero for the Chairboys by tipping Blackpool’s final penalty onto the post and sending Gareth Ainsworth’s side into the quarter-finals.

The Wycombe boss speaks highly of the Chelsea loanee and believes that Jamal’s quality is well above League Two level.

The young shot-stopper has made some world-class saves throughout the season and commands his box superbly.

To have these skills at such a young age is extremely impressive and, with Antonio Conte’s side being fairly well covered in this area, there will be plenty of clubs keeping an eye on his progress.
