Tottenham will be looking to improve on last season’s third place finish in the Premier League by sustaining a title challenge in this campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were the main challengers to Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester for long periods last season, but faltered near the end of the campaign, and eventually lost out on second to North London rivals Arsenal on the last day.

Nevertheless, the club’s best Premier League finish and qualification for Champions League represented a fantastic season for Spurs, but they’ll look to go better this season and sustain a title challenge right up until the end of the campaign.

And, after ten league games, Pochettino’s men are the only unbeaten side left in the top-flight with five wins and five draws, although could do with turning some of those draws into victories in the coming weeks.

They travel to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday for the season’s first North London derby, and Pochettino will be hoping that his side can end their six-game winless streak in all competitions at Arsenal this weekend.

Also, the Spurs boss may feel that he needs more reinforcements in January to keep Spurs competitive on all fronts this season, and could look at other Premier League players in a bid to bolster his squad.

Thus, here are TWO Manchester United players he may try and lure to White Hart Lane in January…

why would we buy Schneiderlin when we already have Dembele, Wanyama, Dier and Sissoko who play in the same positions? Same goes for Phil Jones. Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Wimmer are all better than Jones and Dier is versatile enough to play there as well. We need a reliable striker to supplement Kane, not more players in positions where we are already strong
