What’s Hot and What’s Not from an enthralling Premier League weekend

HOT – Emre Can and Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool saw both City and United draw on Sunday prior to their clash with Watford on Monday, giving them a great opportunity to open up a gap in the race for a top four place.

And although they were far from convincing, they got the job done at Vicarage Road thanks to a moment of absolute brilliance from midfielder Emre Can.

The Germany international has played a prominent role in Klopp’s midfield in recent weeks, but not many could have foreseen what he was going to do on the stroke of half time on Monday, as the 23-year-old produced an unbelievable bicycle kick from a Lucas cross to give the Reds the lead.

It was a goal worthy of winning any game, and that’s how it turned out as Klopp’s men opened up a four-point gap to fifth place United with just three games remaining.
