Many may see Manchester United’s name in the Europa League and just expect them to cruise through, but this group provided them with a stern test.

And it’s one they have passed with relative ease in the end.

Mourinho’s men have won all three of their home games, scoring nine goals in the process, and picked up their first away win in Europe in over three years in Zorya on Thursday.

However, two defeats at Feyenoord and Fenerbahce, both of which a result of poor displays, put United’s qualification into doubt, but four wins and two draws was more than enough for a place in the last 32 in the end, as they finished five points clear of third place Feyenoord.
