Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka attracting transfer interest from Inter Milan

Inter Milan have an interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka, according to reports.

The Switzerland international is currently sidelined through injury but has been a regular in Unai Emery’s team this term.

But now, Calciomercato report that the Gunners could face a battle to keep hold of the 26-year-old with Inter keen on the player.

Xhaka in Europa League action earlier this season.

The Italian club are looking to bolster their options in the middle of the park and it’s claimed they’ve scouted the ex-Borussia Monchengladbach man.

They currently sit third in Serie A and look set to qualify for the Champions League, something the Gunners are not yet guaranteed.

However, with Aaron Ramsey to depart for Juventus in the summer, the North London side will not want to lose another senior midfielder.

Xhaka, who cost Arsenal £35million in 2016, has played 31 times in all competitions this season.
