Everton will look to beat off competition for Birmingham City star Che Adams by making a £15million offer, according to reports.

The 22-year-old has had a sensational season for the Blues, netting 22 goals which saw him nominated for the EFL Championship Player of the Season.

Now Football Insider are reporting that the Toffees are hoping to seal a deal for the forward with Southampton, Burnley and Norwich City also thought to be interested.

Marco Silva is looking to bolster his squad this summer and Adams is certainly a player who has the potential to shine in the top-flight.

Everton boss Marco SIlva is keen to add some new faces to his squad.

Despite the striker having another three years left on his contract at St Andrew’s, it seems inevitable that he will depart the Championship this summer after the Midlands club’s play-off dream was ended with a nine-point deduction in March for for breaching profitability and sustainability rules.

Birmingham turned down bids from Burnley – in excess of £12million – and Southampton in the summer but they would not be able to reject Everton’s rumoured offer.

Adams joined his current club from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee in 2016 and has played 118 matches in all competitions.
