FC Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho is interested in a transfer to Chelsea, according to reports.

The 27-year-old is expected to depart the Camp Nou after struggling to hit his top form following a £142million switch from Liverpool in January 2018.

A host of clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the Brazil star with Mundo Deportivo reporting that the playmaker would prefer a switch to Stamford Bridge.

Coutinho has struggled to make a real impact with Barcelona.

However, despite their interest in Coutinho, the Blues are currently unable to sign any players due to the two-window transfer ban placed on them by FIFA.

If the Europa League winners fail to win their appeal to get it overturned, then it’s claimed the South American may have to accept a switch to PSG.

Barcelona want to bring Neymar back to the club so it’s thought that they would like to do a deal with the French champions which would see the Brazilians move in opposite directions.
