Leeds United are planning to move for Liverpool’s Harry Wilson in the summer if they get promoted to the Premier League, as printed in the The Sun on Sunday (3/3; page 61).

The 21-year-old is currently on loan with Frank Lampard’s Derby County who are themselves gunning for promotion to the top-flight.

He has been in spectacular form this season, chipping in with 12 goals and four assists in all competitions for the Rams.

However, an immediate place in the Liverpool squad next term does seem unlikely for the winger, as the Reds have arguably the best attacking force in the Premier League, meaning game time would be hard to come by.

Wilson has caught the eye during his season-long loan at Derby.

Leeds find themselves in the promotion spots in the Championship, sitting in second place and only two points behind leaders Norwich City.

After a shock defeat to QPR last week, the Whites got themselves back on track with an emphatic 4-0 win over fourth placed West Brom on Friday.

Wilson became the youngest player to appear for the Wales national team at the age of just 16 when Chris Coleman gave him his international debut in a World Cup qualifier against Belgium in 2013.
