Bayern Munich will make a £70million bid for Manchester City forward Leroy Sane, according to reports.

despite registering 14 assists and 16 goals in 46 matches foe the Premier League champions this term, the 23-year-old has not managed to secure a regular spot in the starting XI.

Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez have all been ahead of the German star in the pecking order in recent months, leading to speculation that he could be seeking a move away from the Emirates.

Now the The Guardian report that Bayern Munich have made the wide forward their number one target this summer.

Sane is now back in the Germany squad after his surprise omission from the 2018 World Cup.

The Bundesliga champions are looking to add to their frontline following the departure of long-serving attackers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

It’s claimed that Sane, who was crowned the PFA Young Player of the Year in the 2017/18 season, would be keen on a move back to his homeland.

And with Bayern allegedly lining up an offer £33million more than he moved to England for in 2016, it could be something City seriously consider.
