Manchester United are interested in making a summer move for Lille’s Nicolas Pepe, according to the Express.

The Red Devils are on a poor run of form at the moment, having only won two of their last nine games in all competitions and finding themselves in sixth place in the Premier League.

With Romelu Lukaku seemingly on his way out of Old Trafford, United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, needs to find a replacement.

The 13-time Premier League champions have reportedly been very impressed by Pepe’s performances, who seems set to depart Lille.

Romelu Lukaku has been tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Les Dogues have admitted that they won’t be able to keep their star for next season, as there has been a lot of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.

The 23-year-old has clocked up 20 league goals along with 11 league assists this season, which makes him Ligue 1’s second highest goalscorer, only behind Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.

Solskjaer is expected to have to cough up around £60 million to land the Ivory Coast international.

But United will face tough competition to land the forward with Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and PSG also thought to be interested.
