Manchester United have launched a bid for AS Monaco starlet Hannibal Mejbri, according to RMC Sport.

The 16-year-old has attracted the attention of a number of clubs across Europe and it’s thought that United lead the race for his signature.

It’s reported the Red Devils have made an offer for the France Under-16 international but that it’s been turned down by the Ligue 1 club.

However, the midfielder has submitted a transfer request as he aims to push through a move to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Elsewhere at Old Trafford, Maroaune Fellaini is set for a move to Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng, while Anthony Martial has put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal.
