Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon could be set for a summer switch to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Mirror.

With the 18-year-old’s contract set to expire at the end of next season, the West London club – who will play their football in the Championship next term – have a job on their hands to keep the highly-rated player at Craven Cottage.

As a contract extension looks unlikely following Fulham’s relegation, the Cottagers will reportedly listen to offers for the England Under 21 international at the end of the season to avoid losing him for nothing.

It is also claimed that German giants Borussia Dortmund are keeping a close eye on Sessegnon’s contract situation and are open to a free transfer at the end of next term.

Sessegnon starred in Fulham’s promotion campaign last term.

But the Roehampton-born wide man is reportedly keen on a move to Spurs in order to work with Mauricio Pochettino who has a reputation for developing young English stars and also to remain living in the capital.

While Sessegnon enjoyed a fantastic season in the Championship last season which earned him both the Championship Player of the Year and EFL Young Player of the Year, he has not managed to hit the same heights this season.

Despite making 31 appearance in the top-flight, he only managed two goals and six assists in a struggling Fulham side.
