Jose Mourinho has reportedly handed Manchester United’s board the names of his summer transfer targets, according to Sky Sports.

The Premier League side, who lifted the 2017 EFL Cup last weekend after defeating Southampton 3-2 in the final at Wembley Stadium, have been linked with luring a flurry of star names to Old Trafford ahead of the 2017-18 campaign as the ‘Special One’ aims to take The Red Devils “to a different level”.

The likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Antoine Griezmann, Victor Lindelof and Andrea Belotti have all been linked with moves to United, who haven’t mounted a serious Premier League title bid since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement back in 2013.

The report suggests boss Mourinho has handed Ed Woodward a list of his targets ahead of a crucial 2017 summer transfer window, saying it is now down to the executive vice-chairman to seal the deals.

He said, “The only thing I can tell you is the job of my board is going to be difficult but at the same time it is easy.

“It is easy because I give them names. I am not giving them qualities or positions. I give them names – the difficulty is to get the names.”
